I am a multidisciplinary artist who mainly focuses on ceramics and painting. I currently work from my home studio on the traditional lands of the kʷikʷəƛ̓əm (Kwikwetlem First Nation), also known as Coquitlam, BC. I started making ceramics in 2021 after my dad suggested it would be fun to take evening pottery classes together at a community studio in East Van. Those pottery classes led me to enroll in the Fine Arts program at Langara College that Fall, and eventually I transferred to Emily Carr University of Art & Design, where I completed a Bachelor's Degree in Visual Arts.
I’m inspired by vibrant colours and various textures that help capture a feeling. Whether that be something nostalgic we once experienced or something we haven’t quite put into words yet. I love my daily rituals, and the thought of providing someone with a handmade pot that becomes a cherished part of their routine brings me a lot of joy.
