Whether you’re touching clay for the first time or looking to refine your technique, these 6 weeks will help you go beyond the basics.

The Syllabus

• Week 1: You’ll start by throwing foundational cylindrical shapes like cups and mugs.

• Week 2: Move beyond the cylinder. We’ll focus on shaping bowls and how to manipulate clay to create unique silhouettes.

• Week 3: Trimming & Handle Making

• Week 4: Practice throwing more forms of your choice with hands on guidance

• Week 5: Trimming, Surface Design & Carving This week is dedicated to texture, sgraffito, underglaze painting, and carving techniques to make your pieces one of a kind.

• Week 6: Glazing You’ll learn proper application and layering techniques and access to food safe and non food safe glazes of your choice.

3 Sessions: $800 | $133 / session / person
